First Rider Program

Wolf Creek Public Schools along with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools, Red Deer Public Schools, Prairie Bus Lines, Chinooks Edge School Division and Wild Rose School Division have teamed up once again to introduce children and parents to school bus safety.

The First Rider Program will run in August prior to the start of the school year and you and your children are invited. There is no cost to attend at any of the sites in Red Deer, Olds, Lacombe, Rocky Mountain House and Drayton Valley. Qualified school bus professionals will be ready to entertain and inform you and your littles about where to wait for the school bus, when they should load, how to behave on the school bus, and how to get out of the school bus at their stop. There will also be an opportunity to go for a short bus ride and a perform a safety exit out of the rear door of the bus. The activities will run from 3:00 – 7:00 pm and will take about 45 mins to complete. Please feel free to join us at any of the following locations:
