Sheri Harink Appointed Principal of Crestomere School

Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is excited to announce that Sheri Harink has been appointed the new Principal of Crestomere School. Harink has been a dedicated member of the Crestomere community since 2002, contributing to the school in numerous vital roles.

Throughout her tenure, Harink has served as the acting principal in 2018, stepping in as acting administrator in the principal’s absence. Her expertise also extends to technology, where she spent several years as the technology coach, also as the school’s music specialist, in addition to teaching every grade level at Crestomere.

"Sheri’s deep connection to Crestomere School, the community and its families and her broad experience across different educational roles make her an ideal leader for the school," said Sonja Dykslag, Assistant Superintendent of People Services. "Her dedication and innovative approach to education have consistently demonstrated her capability to uplift the school community."

Harink holds a Masters Degree from Acadia University and is an alumna of the Aspiring Leaders program, equipping her with cutting-edge educational leadership strategies. Her commitment to the community of Crestomere has been evident through her impactful, long-standing service.

"I am truly honored to step into the role of Principal and continue my journey at Crestomere School," said Harink. "I am passionate about fostering a nurturing and innovative learning environment and am eager to contribute further to our school's success."

Harink takes on her new role at Crestomere School, as current principal Jay Adamson will be leaving to join WCPS division office as the new Director of People Services, starting in the 2024/25 school year.
