Taylor Armstrong appointed as Assistant Principal of Iron Ridge Junior Campus

Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is delighted to announce the return of Taylor Armstrong to the role of Assistant Principal at Iron Ridge Junior Campus for the 2024/2025 school year. Taylor’s dedication and contributions to the school community have been exceptional, and Wolf Creek is thrilled to welcome him back to an administrative position.

Armstrong previously served as the Acting Assistant Principal of Iron Ridge Junior Campus from 2018 to August 2023. This past year, Taylor has been teaching Junior High Physical Education and Social Studies, as well as serving as the school’s athletic director. His return to the Assistant Principal role comes as the school reconfigures to serve Grades 7 and 8, and his leadership will greatly benefit this transition.

"Taylor embodies the leadership qualities that we value at Wolf Creek Public Schools," said Sonja Dykslag, Assistant Superintendent of People Services. "His dedication to Iron Ridge Junior Campus and his ability to inspire those around him make him a perfect fit for the role of Assistant Principal. We are excited to see his innovative approaches and leadership enrich the school community once again."

Armstrong holds a Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Concordia, bringing a strong academic background to his administrative role.

"I am thrilled to return to the administrative team at Iron Ridge Junior Campus," said Armstrong. "I look forward to bringing my passion for education and leadership to continue serving our students, staff, and community during this exciting time of change and growth."

Armstrong will assume the role of Assistant Principal at the commencement of the 2024/25 school year this Fall.
