Jay Adamson Appointed New Director of People Services at Wolf Creek Public Schools
Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Adamson as the new Director of People Services.
Mr. Adamson brings a wealth of experience to this role, having been an integral part of the WCPS community since 2013. Most recently, he served as the principal of Crestomere School since 2023, after stepping up from the role of acting principal. His prior experience includes a significant tenure as assistant principal at École Secondaire Lacombe Composite High School.
"Jay’s transition into this role is a testament to his unwavering commitment and his broad educational background," said Sonja Dykslag, Assistant Superintendent of People Services. "His proven leadership and innovative approach to education are exactly what we were looking for to continue advancing our mission of serving our school communities effectively."
Mr. Adamson holds a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Alberta, and a Masters in Teaching & Learning from Wilkes University. His academic background and practical experience in various leadership roles within the education sector equip him well for his new responsibilities.

Mr. Adamson will officially assume his new duties, following the retirement of outgoing Director Alda Lovell, at the end of the 2023-24 school year.
