Mr. Darcy Blum appointed acting assistant principal at Lacombe Outreach School

Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Darcy Blum as acting assistant principal of Lacombe Outreach School (LOS) for the 2023/2024 school year. 

“Darcy brings exceptional experience to the role of acting assistant principal,” said Sonja Dykslag, assistant superintendent of people services. “His passion for educational excellence will undoubtedly be valuable in this new position.” 

Blum previously served as teacher and department head at Lacombe Outreach School, he also received his Masters of Science in Education from Wilkes University in May 2017.

"I am honored and excited to step into the role of acting assistant principal at Lacombe Outreach School,” said Blum. “I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff and collaborating with the community to ensure the success of each and every student at LOS."

Current assistant principal, Scott Shimp, will be taking a leave of absence from his administrative duties to return to the classroom on a full-time basis for the next academic year.
