MMIWG2S Walk

Wolf Creek Public Schools honoured the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit (MMIWG2S) with a MMIWG2S Walk starting and finishing at the Division office in Ponoka on May 5. Elders, drummers, division office leadership, along with students and staff from Ponoka Elementary School, Ponoka Secondary Campus and The BRICK Learning Centre gathered to pay tribute, to advocate and to remember. Wolf Creek Public Schools is honoured to walk alongside elders, students and community in reconciliation.
