Adam Sia appointed assistant principal of École Lacombe Junior High School
Lacombe — Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Sia as the new École Lacombe Junior High School assistant principal.
Sia joins WCPS from Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools (RDCSD) where he has served since 2001. During his tenure with RDCSD, Sia has taught grade 6 to 9 math and science as well as filled assistant principal roles at St. Dominic Catholic High School, St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School, St. Patrick's Community School and St. Gabriel's Learning Centre.
“Adam brings a wealth of knowledge, admin and leadership experience to the Division. We are confident he will be a great asset to the leadership team at École Lacombe Junior High School,” said Sonja Dykslag, assistant superintendent of People Services.
Sia has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta as well as a Master of Education Leadership from City University, Seattle.
“I am looking forward to working with such a high functioning team, and becoming a new member of the school community,” said Sia.
Sia will replace Shaun Wagar, who is retiring at the end of this school year.
