Evie Van Scheik Appointed Principal of Centennial Centre Patients' School
Ponoka — Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Evie Van Scheik as principal of Centennial Centre Patients' School.
Mrs. Van Scheik has been serving in the role of acting administrator at Centennial Centre Patients' School for the past two years. She has more than 20 years of experience with Wolf Creek Public Schools, as a classroom teacher, inclusion coach, assistant principal, and principal at Mecca Glen School, from 2007 to 2012.
“I am thrilled to be appointed as the new principal at Centennial Centre Patients’ School. I am looking forward to the great things we will continue to do as a team of educators, medical personnel, and therapists to build on the existing legacy of rehabilitative excellence for our clients,” said Van Scheik. “Centennial Centre Patients’ School is a unique and special educational institution, and I’m so honored to be part of the team.”
Mrs. Van Scheik holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Calgary and a B.Ed from Canadian University College.
